University of Duisburg- Essen
From the study year 2018 the IMC® Master Programs will be affiliated to the University of Duisburg- Essen. The IMC® Master Programs will be part of the study program of the University of Duisburg-Essen. The academic degree Master of Science will be awarded in an official ceremony by the dean of the University of Duisburg-Essen and the scientific director of the IMC® according to the regulations of the examination board of the medical faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen.
The IMC® Master Programs will be part of the study program of the University of Duisburg-Essen, but still be carried out cooperatively with the well-known IMC® partner universities of Dresden, Saarland, Szeged and Mahidol University in Bangkok.
The standard period of study is 18 months (3 semesters) or 24 months (4 semesters). The study program has a total
time commitment of approximately 1500 hours (part-time) and 3000 hours (full-time). The total time is divided into
web-based basic courses, web-based advanced training, online-live-lectures, seminars, practical training with
attendance in Germany and a Master's thesis. This corresponds to 60 ECTS or 90 ECTS credits (part-time) and 120 ECTS credits (full-time).
